Ministry and Community
Children are an important part of our community! We offer childcare during all worship services by screened staff, Sunday school, and a weekly afterschool program.
Our youth (6-12th grade) participate in regular activities most Sunday afternoons as well as other service projects, lock-in’s, and trips during the year.
There are many opportunities to get connected to the community through Sunday school, small groups, Bible studies, Taco Tuesday, United Methodist Men, and two regular United Methodist Women meetings.
We have a number of opportunities for small groups and growth, but we also like to spend time together as a community sharing in meals and fun.
The people of Lakehills participate in many different ministries within and beyond the walls of the church. This lists some specific ministries that the church works with in partnership.
